A Love Letter to My Amazing Supporters
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to take a moment to reach out and express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have been on this journey with me since 2003. Can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday when I had my tiny blue booth at my very first One of a Kind show in Toronto, strutting my stuff as a Rising Star, and hoping someone would notice my work.
I still remember the excitement of having my fourth piece of jewellery land on the masthead of the National Post. In that moment, I thought, “I guess I’m not in film anymore!” and I have to say, it was quite the revelation!
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to showcase my creations at so many shows and events, and each one was infused with your amazing energy and enthusiasm. You all inspired me to come up with “clever” ideas, many of which have shaped my artistic journey. Though I’ve transitioned into more custom work lately, I still get those creative urges to try fun concepts—like my spark line that used pieces from sparkers to create, well, sparks!
Last year, I stumbled upon the Second Arrow teaching, which really hit home for me. It’s all about choosing how we respond to life’s ups and downs, and wow, hasn’t life thrown us all a few curveballs? This message has really stuck with me, reminding me that even when things get tough, there’s beauty in how we choose to react.
I truly cherish the connections I’ve built with you all over the years. Even though we might not see each other as often as we used to at those bustling shows, you are always close to my heart. I miss those moments of sharing stories and smiles in person, but I’m so grateful that we can still stay connected, even if it looks a bit different now.
Thank you for being part of this adventure. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us as we continue to create, inspire, and connect.
