heather and sean sound wave wedding rings
Working with heirloom pieces is always tricky. There is an obvious attachment that happens with pieces past down through generations. This ring set used the gold and diamonds from his father’s rings. The coolest and most challenging part was the soundwave. The couple met at a music show and wanted the song that they met during depicted on the ring. How cool! Sean was able to supply me with an image of the soundwave, but it was up to me to translate it. All those tiny little lines. In the end, they were over the moon, and Skydiggers song Slow Burning turned into a new heirloom. The design itself turned out to be something very contemporary.
14k palladium white gold set with heirloom diamonds and heirloom yellow gold. The rings are engraved with "of course", a phrase they always say to each other.
